Maria Bottiglieri is Coordinator of International cooperation and Peace Activities for the Municipality of Turin (2003-2018). She holds a Doctorate in “Local self-government, public services and citizenship rights” from the University of Eastern Piedmont, and completed her dissertation on “The Right to adequate Food. International, constitutional and local protection of a ‘new’ Fundamental Right” (2015). She also holds a Law Degree from the University of Salerno (1995), a Post-Graduate Diploma in Commercial Law at the University of Naples Federico II (1998), a Master in Public Administration Law at the University of Turin (2008) and an Advanced Training Course on Food Law (CAFLA) at the University of Eastern Piedmont (2013). She is author of many scientific publications on Public law, International cooperation and Right to adequate food, and has spoken at various international fora including in Argentina, Belgium, Brasil, Burkina Faso, Cape Vert, Italy, Myanmar and Poland.
